Elizabeth Doty is a trusted partner of Business Value Group. She is a consultant, coach, and speaker with a passion for helping visionary leaders close the gap between their strategies and reality on-the-ground, enabling them to generate extraordinary value for themselves, their organizations, and the larger world.
Since 1993, her firm WorkLore has helped organizations such as Intuit, Hewlett Packard, CDM Inc, Skillsoft, and Archstone-Smith create cultures of engagement, alignment and integrity. A chronic interviewer, Ms. Doty has spoken with more than four hundred people about their day to day experiences of engagement at work. Using candid conversations and organizational “lore”, she helps her clients uncover the insights hidden in their own experience, then apply the disciplines of systems thinking, continuous improvement, negotiation, constructive conflict, and learning communities to achieve and sustain their desired results.
Ms. Doty has presented at Harvard Business School, The Commonwealth Club of San Francisco, the OD Network, “Systems Thinking in Action”, the Business Ethics Network and the Bay Area Society for Organizational Learning. From 2004-2006, she assisted Dr. William Ury with research for his book, “The Power of Positive No”.

Elizabeth has been a Steward of the Bay Area Society for Organizational Learning since 1999, and earned her MBA from Harvard in 1991.
