  • Pat founded BVG in 2009 as a business performance and value creation consulting company.

    He has 25 years of International Business Operations and Supply Chain experience.  

    BVG has supported the successful growth and development of several Venture backed and PE owned entities, since 2009.

    As SVP of Mgmt. Systems and Business Excellence at Flextronics International, Pat drove the large scale transformational change initiative growing the company from $13B in revenues to $35B in four years. He was responsible for Corporate Development, Business Excellence, and Strategy. He successfully enabled the $12Billion acquisition integration of Solectron.

    As SVP and Chief Mfg. Officer of Trimble Inc he shifted Trimble to an outsourced manufacturing model. He added 6 points of gross margin and reduced working capital by 60% which drove stock price from $7 to $60 in 2 yrs.

    Pat holds an MS in Ops from Nat’l Uni Ireland, an MBA from San Jose State U., an MS in Org Dev from Pepperdine University. He is Certified: Black Belt from U of Kentucky/Toyota, Venture Finance from UC Berkeley and Board Governance from Columbia University. He is an active mentor to CEO’s of Social Benefit Enterprises with Santa Clara University and Venture Capital Org Utah.

  • Matt is a partner of BVG. His career was partly shaped by his Top 4 consulting company experience. Matt helps organizations achieve better outcomes by bringing insightful leadership to complex initiatives. He does this by coaching sustainable performance at the leader, team, and organization levels. 

    Over his 20 year's experience in operations leadership, organization development, and product, project, and program management, Matt has successfully brought his brand of help to a wide range of clients, industries, and business problems. Notably, Matt lead 500 people in a Big 4 consulting firm. Implementation: Lead a small business to award-winning revenue growth and worked with multiple businesses in executing M&A integrations and performance.

  • Burwell Ventures is a partner of BVG since 2015.

    Angie began her career with Price Waterhouse and spent 10 years as an employee in their audit group. She subsequently spent another 15 years working for PWC in varied capacities, including learning and development and executive coaching.

    Angie believes change happens through conversation, and helps clients generate new futures through them. Her method of awakening change® asks that we be human, be courageous, and be patient.

    Her career has moved from CPA to Six Sigma Black Belt to L&D leader and finally, coach and faculty, with various positions on the way. She has learned that no matter whether in China, India, Hungary, Mexico, Israel or the Silicon Valley, people struggle with how they think they “should be,”. Angie helps all her clients find to their authentic human selves, their voice and the courage to use it, even where it can be hardest: in the day-to-day conversations, where a lot is at stake.

    Angie’s on the extended faculty for the Hudson Institute of Coaching and Pepperdine MSOD, coaches Sundance Film Fellows, and lives with her husband, Stu, and dog, Asali (which means honey in Swahili) in Park City, UT. They’re avid travelers, foodies, wine-ies, chefs, hikers and skiers. 

  • Scott is a successful executive level IT professional. His grasp of complex interdependent IT/IS systems needed for global business is stellar. He is a master architect of progressive solutions that enable companies to adapt and operate their global business models in sync with external pressures.

    Scott does not see himself as an ‘IT guy’. He sees himself as a corporate transformational change agent. He believes a culture of cross functional collaboration is foundational to all progress.

    He has led internationally based software teams in India, Mexico, Romania, Austria, and many other countries. They delivered high quality business system solutions at extremely competitive costs by eliminating politics, breaking down barriers and relentlessly focusing on simplifying systems in service of the business needs.

  • Carmella is a Senior Partner of BVG. As a Certified Coach with over two decades of experience in manufacturing operations, Carmella has a very pragmatic and powerful approach to supporting leaders owning and driving their own development.  

    She is a master at using the power of inquiry to help teams to forge innovative strategies to achieve their business goals. Employing specific techniques such as Q.Storming (brainstorming with questions), she helps people to uncover valuable unknowns rather than operating from a base of deeply embedded assumptions.

    She is adept at helping stakeholders to uncover new and different ways of thinking and working. This has proven to be particularly powerful in Customer-Supplier relationships.

    As a master architect of bespoke leadership development programs, Carmella tailors all programs to meet the high priority needs of the business. Her deep passion lies in aiding individuals and teams to realize their high-performance potential.

  • Brian is a partner of BVG and brings over 25 years of international Operational Excellence expertise to the group. He has mastery in: Lean Enterprise, Lean Sigma as well as Project and Program management across a broad category of Manufacturing and Service businesses. He is exceptionally pragmatic and gets results with a hands on approach via: process design and re-engineering, lean product development, operational improvement initiatives and management system development.

    Brian brings great breadth and depth to due diligence work during M&A activity which enables rapid integration of entities post transaction close.

  • Brian is a Quality Management and Regulatory Affairs Certified executive. His is internationally known in the Medical Device regulatory affairs space. He has the reputation for being pragmatic and is a very business savvy executive. He is a trusted adviser on all aspects of FDA regulations for class 1,2,3 medical devices.

    Brian has led improvement initiatives for a wide range of medical life science businesses for over 25 years.

    Brian has a BS in electrical Engineering from San Diego State University and is Regulatory Affairs Certified and member of Regulatory Affairs Professional Society.

  • John is a principal consultant with BVG and a very successful business executive. He has a proven track record of raising capital, developing organizations, deploying new technologies, and improving revenue and profitability across diverse businesses.

    With his industrial engineering background and his dedication to fixing or building businesses, he delivers remarkable bottom-line focused grounded solutions. He is curious, innovative and leads people to collaborate and solve large systemic level problems.

    He continually works on his own development and is passionate about new breakthrough technologies and ways of working. He has spent significant time in industries that are sustainability conscious and aware. He is a core part of the BVG team that our clients love working with.
